I do a gingerbread party every year. I make and assemble the houses, then everyone brings candy to share. It's so much fun and a great sharing opportunity. Everyone always brings a great selection of candy. Last year we had 16 people in my living room. It was crowded, but worth it.

We have a small group of 5 here in San Antonio who get together whenever we can and do a cake fun day. Everyone brings something to contribute - usually it's a new technique or cake toy to demo - and we all bring something to contribute to lunch or treats for the day. It's hard getting everyone together so this is something that we don't do very often, but when we do it's really fun.

We all met through our cake instructor who is part of the group.
