Hi everyone - I just did a cake with fondant figures to put around it (first time doing figures) and I discovered a problem. Try as I might - I can't get rid of the folds and wrinkles after mixing in my colors. icon_cry.gif Used a 50/50 fondant/gumpaste mix. I'm OK with rolling it out flat, but when I try to make figures - the folds show up as cracks. icon_confused.gif By folds I mean folding the dough over to knead it. Please help. TIA

Microwave it a few seconds and then make a ball and keep rolling the ball in the palm of your hands until it is smooth. THEN make the pieces of your figures.

Thanks Loucinda - I'll try that out this weekend with my leftover fondant!
