I've been shuffling through the hundreds of pages of baby bassinet pictures. I'm planning on using my oval pans and my new silicone baby mold

What is a good way to make the "hood" of the bassinet?? I want it to be hollowed out. Also, I want to make ruffles on the bassinet. How can I make fondant ruffles?? Any tips would be great. TIA
