Hi all.

I wanted to know if you all do sketches of proposed wedding cakes for clients? In this case I mean clients who have already paid a deposit - not window shoppers/price comparers who will take your sketch and then shop with a cheaper baker.

Do you draw a sketch to give an idea of the cake you will make them, and if so, what kind of detail to you go into in the sketch? Is it stylised or more specific?

Has anyone got a sketch they can share as an example?

Thanks, icon_smile.gif

I do sketches at the consultation before they put down a deposit. I can't imagine anyone giving me $ to make a cake the design of which doesn't exist. There's another long thread about sketches on this Forum.
