I know pricing is based on ingredients, etc. I'm just curious if anyone makes and sells "shaped cake pan" cakes and if so how much you charge for them. I've made a few for family and friends (i.e. the baby carridge). I'm just curious if anyone bothers with these shaped pans and if so what you would charge for a cake (no filling) and BC icing piped using a star tip.

Are you talking about Wilton character pans?

Hi, all. Please disregard this post. I was speaking with a friend about this topic and she brought up that the pans are liscensed and you probably can't sell them. I hadn't even thought of that. icon_redface.gif Obviously when I start selling my cakes I won't be selling these ones. Thanks anyways for reading my question.

Not all wilton shaped cake pans are liscensed. Mickey Mouse, Spongebob, Dora these type are liscensed, but wilton has alot that isn't. I hate doing shaped cakes though it is alot of wear and tear on your hands but when I did do them I charged around $35.00 and up. HTH
