Gumpaste Or Modeling Chocolate??

I have a request for a My Little Pony cake and I am trying to figure out what will work the best for the ponies. Modeling chocolate or gumpaste?

Modeling chocolate will work the best for sculpting it. But if your planning to be outside at all with it, in the humid weather, you might have a problem. But modeling chocolate would be easier.
