I would like to make strawberries for a cake but do not know how. I want to use buttercream frosting - any ideas on what tip and how to?

Any advise would be much appreciated icon_smile.gif

I've done it. It's not that difficult. Use a tip 5 or 6 to pipe the berry itself. Basically you start out with a little pressure and add more pressure as you go to make an almost-heart shape. Tip 3 for the stem and your fav leaf tip for the leaves. If you want to pipe the seeds, use a tip 1. HTH

I have no advice for buttercream, if you decide to do fondant strawberries instead I have some very cute and simple ones on my "strawberry shortcake" cake in my photos that I would be glad to help you with.
