For my bridal show, I'm doing this cake for the top of the cupcake tower. It's a 6" round. I did it originally for a bridal shower & the colors were sage & pink. For the bridal show I want to do something different, but I'm not sure what colors... I was thinking brown & pink or brown & sage... but I'm not sure. The frosting will be cream cheese so it will look cream-colored. Any ideas? Thanks!

I noticed that the colors chocolate brown and tiffany blue have been coming up alot.

I am also getting lots of request for fushia and orange. When I first started getting them it sounds so aweful but seeing them balances them out.

brown is a cool colour for weddings (im biased as it was the theme of my wedding) brown is such a soft flattering colour and can be teemed with any other color!
dont forget you can also use orange or an autumnal theme
blue and pink work well
we used brown ivory and gold!

good luck n have fun!!

A quick question. Why cream cheese frosting? I use it all the time because it is what my customers request the most, yet it is the most unfriendly to work with and has to be refrigerated. Do your decorations hold up alright using it at a show? Pretty design, by the way.

I guess I could do buttercream, but it's the cake on top of a cupcake tower, and all the cupcakes are carrot.
