I'm using the cai tylose powder in fondant to make gumpaste. When I let it set overnight like recommended, do I need to wrap it up in plastic wrap or do I let it sit out by itself??? Never worked with gumpaste before! Thanks for any help and suggestions. (Would love suggestions for coloring it too!)

I've used Tylose in fondant before to make a variation of gumpaste and I double wrap it.

after adding the cai tylose powder.. knead in really good. pull and stretch and knead. then put little shortening on hands. and knead into mixture also. and wrap really good with saran wrap. and then put in a freezer bag.. keeps it nice and pliable. etc..hth
