I am making a princess castle using the wilton kit, how much in advance do you think I can begin decorating the towers and turrets? I'll be using B/C for the towers (and adding the fondant flowers on the day) for the turrets I was thinking of using piping gel to adhere the pink sugar sprinkles. Any help/ advice would be great. icon_biggrin.gif

I made one by just dipping the cone part into candy melts and then sprinkling with sanding sugar..........i put a couple layers of the candy melts.........dip, let set, dip, let set, dip, sprinkle sugar!

KHalstead, thanks for the info, what is "sanding sugar"?

it's just a thicker grain of granulated sugar........you can get it just about anywhere. It's like the colored sugar they sell in the sprinkles section of the cake aisle at the grocery store.
