Ok I need all the brain power I can get on this one!

I need to make a cake for my Boss and her Daughter. The catch is that they have SUPER food allergies: they need to use Ghee for butter, honey for sugar, and almond flour for AP flour.

Has anyone got a recipe with such odd ball ingredients? Essentially I need a cake that doesn't use gluten, dairy, real sugar (only honey or natural sweeteners such as bananas, apples..), soy, or dairy. lol.

Thanks for any suggestions. Any tips or tricks for using these particular ingredients is greatly appreciated.

I know for the honey I need to use a bit extra baking power or soda but that's about it.

thanks!

I have a recipe for an orange and almond cake which has:
whole fresh oranges
almond meal (ground almonds)
eggs
caster sugar (could substitute honey)
baking powder

It's a lovely moist cake which holds up under any amount of decoration.

I would love to try that if you are willing to give up the recipe icon_smile.gif

I had a disatourous day of baking yesterday attempting to make a cake on my own opposed to a tried and true recipe
