Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy cardboard square cake rounds. Global Sugar Art among others only seem to carry the circle rounds as far as I have researched and honestly I've been searching so long I'm starting to get fed up! If anyone can help that would be great!

the ones that I have ordered all seemed very flimsy.

so -- have kraft knife -- will cut sheet cake boards to size.

I'm with Doug. Box cutter .... lots of big boards .... means I always have the size on hand that I need! thumbs_up.gif

How about using foam core for your boards?

www.Logicpic.com sells them. But you have to place a minimum order of $35.

And www.intotheoven.com sells them as well. But everytime I have always tried to order from intotheoven, they have always been out of them.

I just ordered a square cake drum from Country Kitchen SA, it is 1/2" thick and feels pretty sturdy. I only plan to put a shoebox/gumpaste shoe on it.

my supply store sells all kinds of boards including square and also the silver cake drums in square. you can just order whatever you want and she will ship them to you pretty cheaply. pm me if you want the info, they do not have a web site but very helpful with anything you need.

I got mines at my fiance's friend's bakery. They are super super thick. Go check out your local bakery--maybe they will sell some to you.
