hey everyone

so i'm making a cake and it needs to be able to sit at room temperature & this is the frosting i was planning on using:

1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup shortening
2 cups icing sugar
1 package vanilla pudding
3 tbsp french vanilla creamer (but use water instead)
1 tsp vanilla

will this crust and/or be left out at room temperature??

thanks in advance! icon_biggrin.gif

I would say that it probably would crust, but i would be worried about grittiness from the vanilla pudding, make sure the pudding is completely dissolved in the creamer first, or its going to be gritty

I dont know but you may need to add meringue powder for it to crust.
