so, i'm making this mickey mouse cake that has a styrofoam face and ears, but i'm not sure how exactly to cover styrofoam balls with black fondant and not have seams.

i bought the solid styrofoam balls instead of the "floral" kind because i figured the smoother the better, but i'm back to the 'covering balls' issue.
I'm wanting to do them early this week, so i won't have to worry about it later, when i'm working on the actual cake.
Can someone help me with that?

You are going to have seams any time you cover a sphere with fondant. The only thing you can do is attempt to smooth them out as best you can, hide the seam with a matching color of chocolate or RI, or cover it up.

Anyone have a differing viewpoint?
