Ok, so I am rolling my fondant to put on wire... Having trouble getting my fondant/gumpaste to be crack free.... I am using lots of crisco. Any tips?

Also how to I keep the wire from piercing the top of the ball, and the ball from flattening on one side, while drying?

TIA

I agree. It would need some kneading.

Use more crisco to soften it for the cracks and dry them on soft foam to help with the flattening issue.

Leave a bit of extra wire and hook that end and hang it off of a rack or anything at all that would work ...HTH
