Fill Crumb Coat And Freeze?

Can I fill, then crumb coat then wrap and freeze my cakes if i want to decorate it later?

This sequence of events only occur every single day of my life!!!
But, after I crumb coat, depending on how thick, I flash freeze first, then wrap with plastic wrap. One thing I did wrong at first was I wrapped too tight with the plastic wrap and it misshaped my cakes big time. I then learned to wrap secure but not tight enough to do this.
I usually only keep them in the freezer for about one week. To me, unless you vacumn seal it, it still gets a freezer taste after one week.
