I am making a cake for a friend who wants a very chocolate cake. It is for a small wedding. I have some chocopan fondant I plan to cover it with. I am wondering if it will work out if I frost the cake with whipped ganache in place of b/c before under the fondant. Any suggestions?

I suggest you use unwhipped ganache.
