I've recently just started decorating cakes, and I usually stick to a tried and true buttercream recipe. However, I have someone asking for icing like the Walmart whipped icing. I tried a recipe I found on here for whipped icing, but it wasn't very...sturdy.
Does anyone have a recipe for something similar to a bakery's whipped icing? Thank you! icon_smile.gif

Hi and Welcome on your 1st post, sarahdeanne. icon_smile.gif

Wal-Mart and Sam's Club use Rich's Bettercreme as their whipped icing.

If you don't wish to purchase RBC, there are faux recipes but I don't know how sturdy they are:
