I normally use buttercream, however since I will be home & won't be doing a huge cake, I thought I would try a whipped frosting, however can I do a basketweave design also need to use my grass tip icon_confused.gif Just wondering if the design will show of if it will kinda melt?

Any help would be appreciated...

Thank you

You can pipe with whipped icing, I believe. Rich's Bettercreme comes to mind. I haven't actually tried it but I've read enough about it here on CC! I actually just bought a container of "Rich's Whipped Topping Base" from my cake store (they don't have Bettercreme) and the instructions specifically state that you can do "anything" with it that you can do with icing, except get bright colors. (Of course they don't mention that you can't cover it in fondant but nevermind that lol.)
