I was supposed to make a cake for a friend for her little girls birthday Saturday. I made the icing, put the cake in the oven and nothing happened. I had to call her and cancell the cake. I felt so bad. She got a grocery store to make the cake which I'm glad she got a cake in time for the party. I just feel so bad. She was cool about it though. I plan to make her a cake when my oven gets fixed. Anyway, life goes on...........

It's so awful when something like this happens. So lucky she was able to get a cake elsewhere. I'm sure she's understanding and hopefully your oven will be fixed soon and you'll be back to baking!
