I need to know how to make cake recipes work in Fat Dadios new 4" height pans...these are not tube cake pans they are regular rounds in all of the regular sizes in a 4" height. I can not get the cakes to bake without flopping I have been testing the 6 x 4 and the 10 x 4. If any one out there has any helpful info please let me know. I have thrown too much money down the drain already and can not keep doing this. It is so frustrating.
Thanks so much!!

Hi Suzi - I use FD pans and I bake at 300 or 325.. slow and easy...baking strips on the pans and I have not had a problem. I will say that sometimes it has to do with the recipe. My red velvet is not a good "thick" pan cake.

Good Luck!

Vicki,
So funny that you said that because I am in fact using a Red Velvet cake recipe with the addition of mini chocolate chips!! So on that note I will try a different recipe. Oh, also I did cook it at 300 and was using the baking strips.
Do you have any recipes that you use in the 4" high pan that you might share?
Thanks for the quick reply!
