Hi CC'ers,

This may be a silly question, but I don't knwo how to use the baby footprint template. How do I cut it out in order to make the fooetprints out of fondant.

Was thinking I need to cut out the toes seperate. Clueless.

Thanks Guys.

yes toes will have to be cut out separate and applied.

option one -- cut out the individual pieces and lay on fondant and then trace and cut -- can use sharp exacto knife for this.

option two -- if you've done option one carefully enough in terms of cutting out the pieces, you're left with a stencil. lay it down on the fondant and trace the part and then cut out OR lay it on the fondant and run a rolling pin over it really well. It will leave a faint outline you can trace with your knife. this stencil can also help with the general placement of the individual pieces when it comes time to put them on the cake.

Me too! I'm going to be doing a baby shower cake in a few months.
