Ok I am really in a bind. I have been asked by our Church to make a cake for our Youth Director who is leaving ( that happens to be this Sunday,Not a lot of time) She is going to a dancing school so I thought I would work on my figures. I have been reading on other forums to mix with Tylose powder. Since I am in a time crunch and can't find a store that carries it, can I use the Wilton Gum Tex for the 50/50 or should I just use fondant?

You can use gum tex. Add 1/2 a teaspoon of gum tex to 250g of fondant. Once you knead it together, you don't have mix that with fondant again. Just use it on its own. Hope it make sence. icon_smile.gif

So do I use the directions on the back of the gum tex container or put the powder from the can into the fondant? I should know the answer but am rushing right now.
