I need general guidelines for how much batter will fit in different size and shapes of pans. Several of the pans I have don't have any guides. I appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Did you check the chart at www.wilton.com?

I have looked there before and couldn't find one. Only character pan instructions. Where should I look?

As Leahs says you can check Wilton's charts.

Here's the link (top 4).

http://search.wilton.com/?q=batter&x=0&y=0

You can also check with water by pouring water into the pan with a measuring cup.

I don't follow any charts because it depends recipe to recipe.

True, it does. I just needed some general guidelines though, to help me figure out (before trying to distribute the batter) in some new pans. The Fat Daddio's pans I got didn't come with any literature so I wasn't sure.

Anyway the Wilton guide was very helpful, thanks.
