What is it?? I was checking out a local cake shop and this is listed as their signature icing techinique??

she says this is her deconstructed buttercream, her signature technique.

looks to be buttercream applied with a leaf or flat tip of some type as the cake is turned around to build up multiple layers/ruffles until entire cake is covered.

I think someone come up with a new marketing term. I really don't see how you can deconstruct BC LOLOLOL.

Usually this is done with a classic savory dish. The parts of the dished are served on the same plate, but seprately, as in deconstructed.
