I need to start off by saying I'm completely new to the entire concept of making any sort of food for someone else. I've always been the cook of my family, but having other people want the goods from me is so foreign.
So, I was asked to make 55 cupcakes for a friends bridal shower. The only request was buttercream icing with a fondant or gumpaste ring embedded in. I'm looking for suggestions for the cake flavor that would go best with this style of party.
