most of my work is gumpaste. i have never worked w any other modeling material. I have seen people talk about mmf, what is that and what is the difference between making decorations from fondant and gum paste. do both kinds dry hard is one easier to work w

mmf (marsh mallow fondant, also there is mff michele fosters fondant) is just a home made fondant.

fondant wont dry truly hard, and stay brittle. usualy used for coving cakes, and making accents. can be used to model (usually simple things) or mixed with gumpaste for a 50/50 mix, ome people find it easier/ better than straight gumpaste.

gumpate will dry rock solid, and is stronger. some people find it difficult to work with, ome find it easy (same aplies to fondant).
