Gum Paste Flowers

So I was looking at some videos about how to make flowers out of gum paste and they keep putting what they call "glue" on them. Is this something special that you buy or is it egg whites? Thanks for the help

all of the above! you can buy edible glue, you can use egg whites, or you can make edible glue (dissolve a little fondant/ gumpaste in little hot water).
