I am trying to make faces and full body figures out of fondant, but they always comes out looking like robots and stick people (if you know what I mean). They don't look how I imagine. Check out my Leprechaun in my gallary, it looks awkward.

Can you suggest any help in making my figures look human? Are there any tutorial on making faces of full bodies.

I remember seeing a clay book that had how to for doing people in clay. You can take the basic principles from the clay directions and use fondant/gum paste. You can also get one of those wooden art dolls to look at while you work. You can pose it in different poses and it helps you know where to place the body parts like shoulders, elbows and knees.

I think your Leprechaun is cute! I've only made skateboarders so I know how 'fun' they can be. icon_wink.gif
