So sorry for all the questions today. icon_redface.gif

But I really am curious about this. Can I attach fondant accents to a thin chocolate shell?

If I want to make the giant cupcake, and instead of covering the base with fondant, I might just use the base pan and make a chocolate shell (so that it looks like the cupcake wrapper). However, I didn't want the shell to be so boring looking, and I hope to be able to attach some fondant accents to it. Is this even possible?

TIA!

Sure, you can attach fondant accents to chocolate with melted chocolate. You can also make your accents out of chocolate and glue them on with melted chocolate. icon_smile.gif
