I need to use a wedge of styrofoam to elevate a monster truck cake that is sitting on top of a sheet cake. Can I cover the styrofoam with plastic wrap and then frost with buttercream? Should I use Fanci-foil instead?

I need to make sure the icing will stick as I have to then cover it with "dirt".

I would use press n' seal then frost it.
