Vanilla Buttercream Into Chocolate?

This may seem crazy but can I melt unsweetend chocolate and mix it with vanilla buttercream that I have already made? icon_surprised.gif

whether.. it is american.. swiss meringue.. italian meringue.. yes, you can... melt the chocolate. it is delicious..hth

So how exactly do you do this? Just make regular buttercream and beat in melted chocolate? I love this website! There is nothing you can't find on here!

I did it and I was so good, this is how I will make it from now on. Thanks so much for all your help. I attached a pic of my cake I covered it in Choco. MMF it was delish. and came out cute if I do say so myself.. icon_biggrin.gif
