How Should I Store These?

I don't usually do cupcakes, just wedding cakes, but I have to make some for a wedding show this weekend. They're going to do a cupcake-eating race, so the victims are going to have to eat a dozen cupcakes as fast as they can to win the prize. (They were going to make them eat 18, but then they did a trial run adn they decided that 18 was SLIGHTLY too much unless you're a teenage boy.)

Anyway, how should I store the cupcakes so that the wrappers don't peel off? That's my main concern, I think that they're going to be eating them so fast they won't even taste them, to tell the truth. I'm afraid if I wrap them wrong the wrappers will peel off when I unwrap them. I was planning on freezing them until Saturday, then defrosting and icing them Saturday night. I just used regular paper wrappers.
