Hi All!

I have a Pearl Silicone Pearl Maker that I have been using this week. The insert that came with it tells me how to use it, but does not tell me how to keep it clean.

I have dusted it with some Pearl Dust to keep it from sticking. However, how do I clean it, I want to take all of the dust out. Are silicone molds still good to use if I clean it with water???

Any tips are appreciated.

Thanks,
=)

I also have a silicone mold and I really do like it but yes it can be pain to clean. What I have done is take a small paint brush, warm soapy water and clean it that way, I don't always get it perfect but its better than nothing, it works for me. best of luck

This is for the blue molds. I am not sure about the other ones. You can put them in the dishwasher to clean.

If i get a large build up, or have used a dark colored dust, I will wash it with a soft toothbrush and let it air dry. But most days I just dust it with cornstarch and keep pressing a scrap piece of fondant or gumpaste in the mold until it comes out clean.
