I know that this has nothing to do with cakes, but I had the most amazing pie at Knotts Berry Farm in California. I've been looking for a shop in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that might carry it, but no luck. Would anybody know of a place around here??

if you can find boysenberries in a local supermarket (HEB? I bet they'd have them) -- then take a stab at making the pie yourself.

all kinds of recipes all over the net for it. Just your basic fruit pie. (remember the cookie sheet to catch the drips!)
