I'm making some catalillys and I'm using the flower wire...I was wondering what should I cover it with before inserting into the cake?
I remember reading a thread on here that mentioned how the green tape can be a problem if someone is allergic to latex.
Not sure what other option I have..Please HELP ME!!

You can insert straws into the cake and put the wire into the straw, or buy some flower spikes and use those...the Wilton flower spikes that are intended for gumpaste or silk flowers are super cheap, about $3 for a package of a dozen.
