Thank you so much for everyone that has answered my numerous questions... yet another icon_smile.gif

I generally use Betty Crocker French Vanilla cake mix right out of the box. It is what my co-worker has requested with strawberry filling. WIll this cake mix be ok for stacking tiers. I am planning on doweling the cake. It will be 10 and 8 inch covered in buttercream. I just need make sure it will support itself

TIA

The dowels support the cake, so the cake doesn't have to hold itself up icon_biggrin.gif A cake mix cake will be fine.
