For my first attempt at using gumpaste, I will be making a rainbow. Would you recommend painting the rainbow on dried gumpaste or using colored gumpaste?

Also, what do you use to "glue" gumpaste pieces together?

To make gumpaste glue take a small ball of it put it in a small container put about 2 tablespoons of water let it sit that becomes your glue.
As far as coloring gumpaste take whatever amount you think that you may need and use a small amount of paste coloring because it is easier to add more coloring if need be than it is to keep adding gumpaste to make lighter.
