For more intricate molds (fairies, flowers, babies, etc), how do you color them? Do you just do a mold in white gumpaste/fondant and then hand paint them? Or, do you layer colors on like you do for candy molds? I'm looking at a few cool ones online but I'm not sure how to go about using them. Many thanks.

Most people would color them once it is out of the mold.
