I am making this cake and using the same board. I had to buy them for class or I prob would of used something different. I am planning on using wooden dowels. If I sharpen the dowel will it go thru that board?

Also, for the flowers I am just going to use a 5 petal cutter then use a small round one for the centers is that correct? These will be made out of gumpaste.

TIA

Yes, a sharpened dowel will go through that board. It's just a bunch of cardboards stuck together and wrapped in foil.

Correct on the flowers. You'll need to place them in a former to get the cupped shape. The circular, white paint palettes work great for that. They're only a buck or two in the art paint section of the craft store (or 3.99 if you buy it in the candy making section!!!)
