I live in Miami, Fl. Where the weather can be very hot and humid. I am doing my nephews birthdays this weekend and we are doing it on the beach (covered pavillion). I was wondering will the fondant hold during those temps.

I just did a big 3 tiered 4th of July cake and it held up great (16in, 12in and 8in)! I had to use a crusting buttercream underneath the fondant (not my fave but had to use b/c of the heat) but it did just fine. It was in a huge tent only cooled by fans. I'm here in GA and it was/is humid and the temp got up to 96 that day. I doweled the mess out of that cake I think that helped.
