I have been tasked to make a baby's crib cake for a bayb shower, but I need help as to what I need to do. I have ideas in my head on what I want the crib to look like, bu of course that will be a different thing when I actually start working on it. I want the head/foot boards, and panels to look like wood, and I need the sheet cake to be elevated so I can put a bead skirt at the bottom of the crib. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to start theis process? any templates, instructions, or how to videos I can use for this task?

Royal icing (brown) for the ends, and to elevate try using a smaller pan to "stack" on-- just a thought! I am sure others have greater ideas as I have seen some really cute ones on here.
