What can I use in place of this?? Or do I just need to go to the store icon_cry.gif ?

depends on what its being used for, but i sub alot with 1/2 cup whole milk and a stick of butter

Hmmm...the CD cooking sites says 1/3 cup butter and 3/4 cup milk...or is the stick butter and 1/2 cup milk a better sub as listed here...just wonderin'

depends on what your making, when making a ganache i sub the 1 stick butter to 1/2 cup whole milk. And it works just fine.
