Hi everyone,

I want to make a Coconut & Lime Cake and all the recipes I come across call for a block of creamed coconut. I can find Coconut Milk & Shredded Coconut, even coconut flakes, but nobody I've asked has heard of Creamed Coconut and when I tell them its in a block and you can grate it they tell me to use Dessicated Coconut.

Can anyone tell me is it the same thing, or can I substitute it with anything in particular....

Here is some info on it. Says you can find it in India stores or in the Mexican food section.
