Ok, I have a 3 tier cake that is fondant, can I put the fondant on the cake & then put it back in the refrigerator? If I can what kind of effect will it have on the cake if any? Please help, I have no idea about this but I am pressed for time, this is a "unexpected cake" that was cancelled 2 weeks ago & I need to get it done so I can work on my others for the weekend. Thanks so much for any helpful advise.

I put fondant covered cakes in the fridge all the time. Some people have condensation problems, but I never have. If you notice "sweating" on your cake, just make sure and don't touch it, let it air dry.
