Does anyone have any experience doing this? I have finally found a white cake recipe that I like, but I would like to add white chocolate pudding or any other pudding, to change things up a bit. I just don't know what else I would need to add to the batter to compensate for adding the pudding mix. I think if I don't add any other liquid that it would be too dry. Has anyone done this?

Thanks.

if you are using cake mix from box then you can just add the instant pudding right in your mix.

I imagine it would be similar to adding pudding to a box mix. You would need extra fluid - maybe oil, and maybe an extra egg. I just guessing but this will give you a bump so someone who's done it with scratch cakes has a chance to see your question.
