I am going to be trying a banana cake this week for the first time and am wondering about a good icing. Chocolate is a easy one, but what do you guys think about peanut butter filling and chocolate iced with the sides covered in nuts? I was thinking like the frozen bananas you get covered with goddies.

Thoughts?

I think that sounds great. PB, Chocolate, even a jelly or jam filling would be tasty. Something with honey maybe? Let us know how it turns out!

That sounds really good. We always just use cream cheese icing on our banana cakes

the peanut butter and banana sounds like an elvis thing. and if it's good enough for the king, it should be really tasty!

I think coconut buttercream would be awesome.

I would think something like a Butter Nut (not peanut butter), Butter Rum or Rum or cream cheese would be good.
