Edible Image On Colored Buttercream???

If I put an edible image on colored buttercream will the bittercream show through the image?

Yes it probably will. If you look at my halloween cookies you will see the glaze shows through the EI.

It will show through. I've figured that out the hard way, with colored buttercream as well as airbrushed buttercream.

If you use colored icing, I would just add a light coat of white buttercream the size of the EI, and put it on that.
