I had a request for a small Yoshi Cake only 10x6 but they are wanting oreo cookies in the cake. does anyone know how much crushed oreo cookies i should add to my vanilla cake recipe?

I've never done a oreo cake before so i'm not sure how crushed the pieces should be and if it changes the cooking time at all?

Thank you!!

The only time I use Oreo's is crushed in my buttercream. I use a butter fudge cake mix for the cake itself. Are you sure they wanted the cookies in the cake or in the filling?

The Nabisco site has a lot of recipes with Oreos in them so you may want to check there as well.

Best of luck.

I've seen other recipes on here for the golden oreo cupcake recipe so i'm sure there is something about oreos.

IF they will let you modify a bit, I have a LOT of success with this cake, it is a huge crowd pleaser!

I would say maybe about 15-20, just saw a recipe somewhere that called for 30 cookies, but it was for a double batch of cake
