I just made a yummy cream cheese pound cake, but have not frosted it yet. I was thinking a lemon buttercream sounded delish for this cake, but I have looked high and low in my cupboard, and my lemon flavoring is no where to be found. Has anyone tried adding lemon flavored pudding to BC? I live 30 miles outside of town, so I can't just run to the store. Any suggestions?

I just made some today. I added lemon pie filling with my regular buttercream. It is yummy!

I make the regular Indydebi buttercream recipe, and add the zest and juice of 1 lemon. Turns out delicious, and with a really fresh, lemony taste, that isn't overwhelming.

That sounds really good!

To the OP - I have never tried adding lemon pudding to BC, but it might work. Indydebi's recipe calls for Dreamwhip.
Let us know if it worked or not!
